El parpadear de lo irreal en lo real. La sombra es el paso irremediable sobre todos los elementos visibles de la luz. Marcan los contornos y exaltan los volúmenes. Da profundidad, noción de corporeidad en la concepción visual de nuestro entorno, la percepción del espacio físico, de espacialidad entre la naturaleza y todos los elementos sujetos a la luz. La secuencia de fotografías y la manipulación de éstas, hacen visible el tiempo a través de las sombras. El movimiento continuo a partir de imágenes estáticas, dan como resultado una textura irregular y sensible. Lo más parecido a abrir y cerrar rápidamente los ojos: parpadear y entrever las luces y sombras del mundo que nos rodea.
Blink
The flickering of the unreal into the real. The shadow is the irremediable passage over all the visible elements of light. It marks the contours and enhance the volumes. It gives depth, the notion of corporeality in the visual conception of our environment, the perception of physical space, of spatiality between nature and all the elements subject to light. The sequence of photographs and their manipulation make time visible through shadows. Continuous movement from static images results in an irregular and sensitive texture. The closest thing to rapidly opening and closing your eyes: blinking and glimpsing the lights and shadows of the world around us.
